Draco: So Matt, if your a real master thief, try to get to the vase without tripping any alarms. *points*
Me: No problem. *swiftly jumps from wall to wall, snatches vase within 10 seconds*
Jinsoku:..... *looks at Draco* You owe me 1000 yen.

It does look like it has much more of your twist then being haida.
are you from a northwest tribe?
I know what you mean, it all started with a simple graphite sketch [link] and then when I started working on it on photoshop and after adding colour it look cool but it wasn't enough for me so i Kept adding stuff to it till i got to that point.
I also have one of an eagle [link] check it out if you can
No, I am not from a northwest tribe, actually I'm from Mexico but, i have strong feelings for northwest cultures, I haven't studied much about them so I decided to start by analyzing their artistic expressions and fell in love with the interpretation of shapes and use of colours. and in the middle of this process I found a new way (for myself) to represent what i saw as a similar style to Haida.
One of my first memories of haida art, i was about 6 years old, is a totem pole and i was just fascinated of the concept of the storytelling and craftsmanship.
once again thanks for the comment and sorry about the rant

yea I really like your eagle one and it looks like it has more of a haida influence then this one.
i really like the eagle because i feel i was able (as you said) to portray more of a haida influence, drawing the wings was tricky but it was really fun to do.
I was checking your galley and really like your imagery.
are you from a tribe in mexico?
No, I'm just a city boy, from Mexico city, and unfortunately most that i know from my ancestry takes me back to europe (spain, france) but since how things work on a colonized territory, it has been hard for me to know my full ancestry (Bummer)
hey I read your profile and i think that it is really cool that you are doing environmental research on T’Sou-ke territory.
Man, it must be a trip and a half to be able to connect to your roots and see, explore and find the strength within.
Man, that's awesome that's one of the things i have in my to do List
